There is no coward amateur boxers

What i like about amateur boxing is that they are never afraid of facing anyone inside the ring unlike the professional boxers that can excuse themselves of not fighting the best. Filipino like Manny Pacquiao is no doubt not a coward, I don't think so about Mayweather, Jr? But Juan Manuel Marquez might have the right to call Manny the same ( My opinion only).

The first requirement of being a boxer is bravery. Bravery or courage combined with being able to take a punch is the first step to become a successful boxer, amateur or professional it doesn't matter. The secret for you to be the best amateur boxers is what I called TTT. What does it mean? TTT is to train, train, and train. To harness the skills of a boxer is to practice with all your heart.

The third important thing aside from practice is to have a discipline. The rigorous training of a boxer starts in the morning ( 5am). The boxer starts to run usually 10Km to enhance the boxers stamina. It will end at night (9pm) to sleep and recover the body mechanism. In between is the training, sparring, and competitions that a boxer must hurdle in his life.

The fruit of amateur boxing is the Gold Medal in the Olympics , How sweet it is! How i wish that our first ever Gold Medalist comes from boxing. We might get it the year 2012, 2016 or 2020..it doesn't matter as long as we are focus and determined
to get it. Our strategy is to be persistent and aggressive on all the programs of ABAP ( Amateur Boxing Association of the Philippines). The officials, trainers, coaches and programs is the ingredients of success!

O How
